I really don't know too much about the Webkinz but my 8 year old granddaughter is so absolutely thrilled with it. This is her second one. I gave her this one for Valentine's Day and she jumped up and down when she saw the gift. She spends much time on the PC with her Webkinzs. I recommended Webkinz to a fellow worker and she bought one for her 6 year old granddaughter who is now totally hooked on Webkinz.
